George F. Linn, of Beckville, died Monday evening with typhoid fever. He was 22 years of age and was the son of J.B. Linn. He leaves a wife. The funeral occurred at Mace at 3 o'clock on Wednesday. Interment at the Mace K of P. Cemetery.
c 4 - George Linn was born July 3, 1875 in Montgomery County, Ind. Died Sept 27, 1897 aged 22 years 2 months 25 days. United in marriage to Minnie Beck Sept 2, 1896. He leaves a young wife, a fond father, three sisters, five brothers and a host of friends to mourn his loss.

George was of a good moral charqacter, kind and loving husband and well respected by all. The funeral occurred at the ME Church at Mace. Rev. Williamson delivered the funeral discourse, Rev. Riley officiating. Interment at K of P. Cemetery.

His suffering ended with the day Yet lived he at the Close,
And breathed the long, long day away in states - like regoss (?)
But when the sun is all its state illumed the western skies
He passed through Glory's gate and walked in Paradise ... a friend
